President Obama’s speech to public school students on Tuesday caused an uproar among conservative parents. Prior to the speech’s delivery, many “conservative” parents accused the president of trying to indoctrinate their children with socialist ideas. Others said they were concerned because the speech had not been screened for political content. There was even a  Student Walkout to Prayer (President Obama’s Live Address To Students), which more than 1,000 people attended, according to Facebook. (http://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=128572170027) When Obama gave his speech Tuesday, he urged students to work hard and stay in school.
